2020

Week Three!

This week, we reflect on 2020. I know, I know, why would we do want to do that? Because art has a responsibility of documenting history.

To do: write in your sketchbook something about 2020 that influenced you. I am placing some of my summer artwork here:

Window in Paper Room (Wash Your Hands)

Window in Paper Room (Wash Your Hands). Notice the Dawn dish soap duck and surreal indoor scene.

Birthday for a Three Year Old (In the Time that Wasn't Real)

Birthday for a Three Year Old (In the Time that Wasn't Real). This is about the isolation that took place, even during normally celebratory times

Will you draw or paint about loneliness, empty restaurants, family, and masks? Will you draw or paint about the natural disasters, politics, protests, or disagreements? What affected you in 2020?
